The Aesir

The Aesir are the supreme gods of the ancient Vikings. Now they have left their golden thrones and snow-covered lands to take new forms – as some of the most powerful Synchro Monsters ever created!

Now YOU can use their awesome power to crush your enemies once and for all! All of these Level 10 monsters have super-high ATK & DEF. In the unlikely event that they are ever destroyed, they can also return themselves from the Graveyard!

Fury of the North

Each of the Aesir rules over their own tribe of Nordic monsters:

Thor, Lord of the Aesir rules the Nordic Beasts.

Loki, Lord of the Aesir rules the Nordic Alfar.

Odin, Father of the Aesir rules the Nordic Ascendant.

Storm of Ragnarok includes monsters for each of these Nordic tribes, and each tribe includes a special Tuner used to Synchro Summon that tribe’s Aesir:

Guldfaxe of the Nordic Beasts Summons Thor.

Svartalf of the Nordic Alfar Summons Loki.

Valkyrie of the Nordic Ascendant Summons Odin.

Odin’s Schemes

But Odin, as father of all the Aesir, prides himself on his wisdom. And he has many schemes and plans to bring victory for his people. So his army of Nordic Ascendant includes the ultimate Tuner: Vanadis of the Nordic Ascendant. Vanadis (a Level 4 DARK monster) can be used as a Tuner monster for ANY of the Aesir. She can also adjust her Level to match any “Nordic” monster in your Deck, giving you maximum flexibility in the heat of a battle.

With Vanadis at your command, Summoning any of the Aesir becomes simple. You can do it with as few as 2 cards, by combining Vanadis (Level 4) with 2 Level 3 “Nordic Beast Tokens” from Tanngrisnir of the Nordic Beasts.

A Thousand Years of Plunder

When it comes to waging war, the Aesir don’t mess around. Are you not satisfied with three of the mightiest Synchro Monsters ever created, plus an army of Beasts, Alfar, and Nordic Ascendant? So be it! Father Odin also presents you with over a dozen special Spells and Traps for your Nordic Deck – the plunder and treasure of a thousand years!

Return of the Six Samurai

The Nordic gods aren’t the only ones stepping from the pages of history into your Duels. Storm of Ragnarok also features the ‘return’ of the Six Samurai… the original Six Samurai. And they’re way more powerful than the samurai you’ve seen so far!

These Legendary Six Samurai are the ones who started it all. Add all six of them to your existing Six Samurai Deck. You won’t need the existing Six Samurai cards to make a powerful Six Samurai Deck. But the Legendary Six Samurai and the existing Six Samurai work perfectly well together, so you can mix and match if you want to.

Besides 9 new monsters – including a Six Samurai Synchro Monster! – Storm of Ragnarok also contains new Spells and Traps, showing off the tactics and fighting methods of all the Six Samurai, old and new.

Bursting with Powerful Cards!

In addition to all the Monsters, Spells, and Traps for Nordic and Six Samurai Decks, Storm of Ragnarok also has new cards for Decks like Blackwings, Scraps, Karakuri, Watts, Zombies, Elemental Heroes, and Harpies. Plus it has new Trap Monsters!
