Oggi mentre giocavamo è nata una discussione sull'effetto che questo mostro non può essere desgnato come bersaglio di un attacco. In pratica c'era una discussione riguardante il fatto che se era l'unico mostro sul terreno l'oppo non potesse attaccare od attaccare direttamente, a voi la parola.

qualcuno mi delucida sennò mi rompono se non ho una risposta da un judge, e non vorrei esprimermi con pareri influenzando appunto i judge.

Tutti i mostri Earthbound Immortal condividono questa parte del testo:

There can only be 1 face-up "Earthbound Immortal" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. Your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. [...]

Lo stesso testo (o, per meglio dire, un testo molto simile) esiste solo in un altra carta del gioco, The Legendary Fisherman:

As long as "Umi" is face-up on the field, this card is unaffected by any Spell Cards. Monsters on your opponent's side of the field cannot select this card as an attack target.

Il ruling di questa carta è molto chiaro: se controlli solo questo mostro scoperto, il tuo avversario può attaccare direttamente i tuoi Life Points.

Teoricamente, dovrebbe valere lo stesso ruling, tuttavia, i ruling forniti da Konami sono ben diversi:

If you control an Earthbound Immortal and no other monsters, your opponent cannot attack you, because they cannot
select the Earthbound Immortal as an attack target. (Exception: they can attack with monsters that can attack directly,
such as “Submarineroid.”)

Ancora una volta, possiamo osservare come la logica e la coerenza in questo gioco siano spesso assenti.
